A workshop for tools shaped by art, science, and philosophy.
Obanek Labs is an independent workshop where tools are built to respond to the changing needs of the world. We do not follow a single market. We follow questions, discomforts, and gaps, and we let each project find its own shape through the lenses that matter: how things work, why they matter, and how they make us feel.

Software engineer who ended up running an independent workshop in Berlin. Master's in Computer Science and 15+ years across the stack. I have worn most of the hats the IT world offers: database administrator, infrastructure engineer, technical support troubleshooter, independent consultant, and CIO. Somewhere in the middle of all that I wrote a book called Chief Flow Officer about how knowledge teams actually produce work when nobody is looking.
I get excited about quantum amplitude estimation at 2am. I published research applying quantum algorithms to industrial project management, using real Jira ticket datasets as case studies. When I am not shipping code I read neuroscience papers, wrestle with philosophy, and look for the places where those three fields overlap. They overlap more than you would think.
Obanek Labs is the workshop where those curiosities meet the keyboard. It is how I build tools that I wish someone had handed me before.
